a special occasion

This past weekend, we returned to Jason's beloved homeland of Burley. We encounted quite a bit of rain on our way ride up to Burley, but once we rounded the corner into Cassia County, the skies were absolutely gorgeous. We enjoyed the nice weather and sunshine, which was quite a change coming from dull, rainy Logan.
All of Jason's family gathered together this particular weekend for a special occassion. It was Grandpa Morley's 92nd birthday. He is a wonderful grandpa, and we enjoyed spending time with him this weekend. I think he was happy to have most of his family there celebrating with him. The whole Morley clan went out to eat at a nice little resturant in Burley, and afterwards we celebrated with cake and ice cream. It was a fun celebration.

This is a picture of Tammi's siblings with their Dad.On a side note, we had a great time being with the family. Here are a few other highlights of our trip.
* Jason's little sister, Jordan, had try-outs for cheer, and she made it (but we weren't too surprised because she is very good)! Congrats to her.
* Jason really enjoyed watching his Celtics play. We don't get the luxury of having cable to watch the NBA finals.
* Kayson was the center of attention at the Pollard household. He is such a cutie! We just love him to death.
* We took silly pictures of the family and ourselves.
* Most of all, we just enjoyed spending time with our FAMILY.
