I had a wonderful Christmas with my two boys. What fun!
Jason and I were both very excited for Beckham's first Christmas. We spent this year with our family in Idaho and we loved every minute of it! We loved visiting all of our family and were so grateful that we could spend four days with them all. Can we do that again soon?! We sure hope so. Here are some of the many highlights of the trip.
*I have to share....Jason's sister, Jessica, made me this adorable orniment for our tree. I love it! It really has been a memorable Christmas season with our little boy. It was such a thoughtful gift.
* So Beckham tried out he Bumbo while we were up there. Umm...he is a fan. No more of this laying down stuff. He loves to sit up and see everyone and everything. Oh no! He is growing too fast.
* All of us went to church on Sunday and enjoyed a beautiful Christmas program. Here is in his Sunday best.
* The cousins. Beckham loves his cousins. It is so funny to watch the interaction between all of them. His cousin, Kyler, is only a few months older than Beckham and is really starting to take a liking to him. They are so funny together! I love that Beckham has cousins close to his age. It is so fun to see.
*On Christmas Eve, we went to a live nativity in an old barn. Beckham slept through the whole thing. Jason and I watch the production, which was so good. I was particularly happy to watch this on Christmas Eve. It reminded us all of the true meaning of Christmas and what is really all about.
* Santa came! Beckham decided that he couldn't wait and was wide awake at about 5:00 in the morning. So we were clearly the first ones up. Sorry to all those that we woke up! By the time everyone else was awake, Beckham was down for a nap, so he missed most of the present opening. He really didin't know what to make of the toys, but he loves them all now. He got really spoiled, as did Jason and me.
And just like that, it was over. We left that afternoon. Our very short four day came and went. Jason and I had to work the next day. Sad! The whole Christmas season flew by all too fast this year.
* On our way home, we made a quick stop to see Uncle Courtney who was here for the holidays from Washington D.C. We enjoyed seeing you!
Now we are home, and the Christmas tree is down. Somehow every year, the Christmas season gets shorter and shorter. But, each and every year, I am reminded just how blessed my little family is and what a wonderful time of year that it is. This year was particularly special because our sweet Beckham was with us.
